چکیده

Development of diseases in cultivated crops depends on the complex inter-relationship between host, pathogen and prevailing environmental conditions. The significant role nematodes development nematode–fungus interaction is demonstrated many throughout world. Therefore, main objectives this study were to evaluate Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. lycopersici Meloidogyne incognita. experiment was laid out a completely randomized design (CRD) with three replications pot results show that inoculation nematode at 7th day prior fungus caused maximum reduction plant growth parameters increase per cent disease incidence followed by simultaneous as compared control.

Interaction between Meloidogyne incognita and Agrobacterium tumefaciens or Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. lycopersici on Tomato.

Agrobacterium tumefaciens stimulated and Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. lycopersici inhibited development and reproduction of Meloidogyne incognita when applied to the opposite split root of tomato, Lycopersicon esculentum cv. Tropic, plants. The lowest rate of nematode reproduction occurred after 2,000 juveniles were applied and the fungus was present in the opposite split root. The effects of all ...

Interaction between Meloidogyne incognita with Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. lycpersici on Tomato

Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.) is one of the most popular vegetable crops grown in the world, next to potato. It is used as a fresh vegetable and also can be processed and canned as a paste, juice, sauce, powder or as a whole (Barone and Frusciante, 2007). The ripe fruits are good source of vitamin A, B and C which add wide varieties of colour and flavour to the food. Recently, it started gai...

Evaluation of Plant Extracts against Fusarium Oxysporum F. Sp. Lycopersici, Wilt Pathogen of Tomato

Wilt is an important disease of tomato crop causing significant reduction in yield. In present study, the pathogenic fungus was isolated from infected plant and identified based on morphological and cultural characters as Fusarium oxysporum f.sp.lycopersici whose pathogenicity was confirmed by Koch’s postulate on tomato seedling. In vitro evaluation of extracts of 20 plant species was done by p...

Inhibitory Effect of Algal Extracts on Mycelial Growth of the Tomato-Wilt Pathogen, Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. lycopersici

The present study was undertaken to explore the inhibitory effect of cyanobacterial extracts of Nostoc commune FA-103 against the tomato-wilt pathogen, Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. lycopersici. In an optimal medium, cell growth, antifungal activity, and antifungal compound production could be increased 2.7-fold, 4.1-fold, and 13.4-fold, respectively. A crude algal extract had a similar effect as m...

Interaction of Population Levels of Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. vasinfectum and Meloidogyne incognita on Cotton.

In autoclaved greenhouse soil without Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. vasinfectum, Meloidogyne incognita did not cause leaf or vascular discoloration of 59-day-old cotton plants. Plants had root galls with as few as 50 Meloidogyne larvae per plant. Root galling was directly proportional to the initial nematode population level. Fusarium wilt symptoms occurred without nematodes with 77,000 fungus prop...
